     What an excellent night. The Mike Booth Big Band were just fantastic to dance to and the turn out was a veritable who's-who of Lindy in the North with more Lindy dancers in the same place than I think Leeds has ever seen in recent years.
    We had our Leeds Friday night Lindy Dance crowd, folks from Joyce's Thursday night Woodhouse classes, Jenny & Stuart's gang from out in Menston, the Sheffield lot, Keith from Manchester, Andy Mooney & Liz and plenty of others I'd never seen before.
    All credit to Harry & Svetlana for getting all these folks in the same room. We just can't wait for the next one.

We had great fun in this last year (mostly coz we got to dress a bit like break-dancers) The show is coming round again. Meeting with Al and Tim for the start of their choreography this weekend.

Very much hope we can get our new Aerial polished enough to get it into the show this year.

Always exciting on run up to a new term. Lindy @ the Light at xmas generated a lot of interest in our Lindy dance here in Leeds once again. Quite a few new folks e-mailed with interest and website's had a few hundred hits more than usual. I'm sure there are plenty of folks who want to learn to dance Lindy in Leeds who just don't know what it is yet. Lindy Hop is far from a household name just yet.

Al & Tim lead our first Friday of term as is customary. Very much looking forward to it all.
