5th outing of the hugely popular stays up late event.

   Once again with Live Music this time from the 'Swing of Things'.
Back again at the wooden floored downstairs Lounge at Tiger Tiger (117 Albion St, Leeds LS2 8DY) Map.
   LindyFridays classes will run as usual from 7 - 9pm then afterwards we'll have dancing until midnight
   In keeping with our not-for-profit theme (and thanks to your continued custom) the price remains a credit-crunch-beating £7 (£5 concessions)!

 

   We're also proud to announce some very special teachers all the way from Hertfordshire in the shape of international teachers Joseph & Trisha Sewell!

Nov7-9-Newcastle Swing Thing

Following the success of the first NST, this second NST has more classes, more levels, more teachers, and just generally more. 

Anyone is welcome along. The event is run by students, and all attempts have been made to keep costs low and affordable by fellow students. The more who come, the cheaper for all it can be...		 We plan to have eight swing teachers from around the country, and expect to be joined by contingents of learners from Leeds, Edinburgh, and Cambridge. Not only will there be classes in swing dance, but other dance societies from Newcastle University have agreed to put on taster classes in other styles, such as Irish and salsa. As well as the classes there will of course be social dancing in the evenings. The larks could be intense.

Oct12-Kingston Swing Workshop, Hull

@The Lamp 2 Norfolk St, Hull Another fabulous party, come and hone your skills with our regular techers from Leeds, Al and Rob and their mates, then dance the night away to our fabulous swing DJS ad local swing band The Debonaires. Absolute beginner class too, so send all your mates who havent tried lindy yet, or come on and have a go if youre not a regular dancer. 1-2pm Charleston based class 2.30-3.30 Lindy for Show offs- flash stuff 4.00-5.00 Absolute Beginners, come alone or with friends 5.30-6.30 Big routine, tieing lots of moves together All classes £3 each, pay on the door 7.30 evening dance, £4 on the door. Allday pass£10 Look out for the cigarette (chocolate, of course!) who may be visiting again!
