Tim and CB lead our Friday night Lindy Dance classes this week with some moves I'd never actually been taught ever before and all very useful for the social dance floor.

   Andy and Liz are having a joint birthday celebration out by the ring road in Leeds (near the junction with the A64). Andy's last birthday dance a couple of years ago was excellent and generally everyone who's anyone in Leeds Lindy is there. Sadly I'm on my stag do and can't make it but get yourself along. It will be excellent!

Sue and Hannah visited us from Sheffield again to teach our Friday night classes



lovely way to start the new term with a handful of new faces, Team Hull as ever (god bless 'em) and for a moment we even had more men than women for once!

   Those of you who attend our Friday night dance classes will know them well, but this Sunday they branching out from their Leeds base and teaching a Beginners Lindy Workshop (arranged in conjuction with Team Hull) out in the sunny port of Hull by the sea. More about it all here.

   I can't reccommend them more highly. The most fun you can have without a bouncy castle. Tuition so good it could even save lives and bring world peace. Guaranteed to increase your sex appeal, career prospects, cures most common ailments and even removes stubborn stains. Bring your laundry along. £3 the lot!

Finished at last. Several edits until I'd remembered everyone who should have been in it and included all my favourite footage. Apologies it's taken until April this year. We had computer problems since we were so ambitious with it this year. Do hope you enjoy it and big thanks again to all those who made it happen. Hope it's brings back some good memories for you. Did for me! Looking forward to it all again in another 8 months ;o)

   The Future Sounds of Swing 

     Another exciting first for Leeds. Al & CB have master-minded a fantastic Lindy dance camp right here in Leeds for folks from Leeds and all over  the country with some world class teachers and a big Satrurday night dance in the middle of it all. It's got Joe & Trisha from GNSH in Hertford, Daniel & Sandra all the way from Sweden. You'd be crazy not to!
   Plenty news being added all the time on their futuresoundsofswing site. If you are a student make sure you book soon. This size of  event has never come to Leeds before and it's an opportunity not to be missed.
   Bookings open up to non-students as of Easter Sunday! £20 for students, £30 for non-students.
